On Sunday, 10th of June, Perth got hit with a huge storm that lasted about 2 hours. Rockingham/Mandurah bore the brunt of the storm. On the way to church, we saw the carnage that the storm wreaked - trees down everywhere, no electricity, roofs blown off, boats washed up on the shore, many boats sunk after breaking free of the moarings. The power of God displayed in a 2 hour storm!
The following week, we went for a walk on the beach. The sky was blue and there was a slight breeze - a far cry from 7 days earlier. Below are some photos of the damage on the beach.

The beaches are flat, the sand dunes washed away. |

Dunes are exposed, with most footpaths and access points washed away. |

More people checking the sorry state of the beach. |
